Roselawn Gardens : Roselawn Gradens is situated off the Canterbury Road to the east of the High Street in Garlinge and to the west of the town centre. The development consists of 25 flats built by Alfred McAlpine Homes and was completed in 1987.

Margate : Margate's name probably derives from 'gate or gap leading to the sea' and was one of the original Cinque Ports. The town is situated to the north of the Isle of Thanet in Kent which was once an island and is about three miles northwest of Broadstairs.
