Heckington Almshouse Charity consists of six one and two-bedroom flats renovated in 1975. Facilities include non-resident management and emergency alarm service. Heckington was mentioned in Domesday as Echintune and had a church, three fisheries and a mill and belonged to the Bishop of Lincoln.
