Copeland Court consists of 16 two-bedroom bungalows built in 2005. Facilities include non-resident management and emergency alarm service. Sleaford lies about 16 miles southeast of Lincoln in the Fens on the River Slea. Its name probably derives form 'ford over the River'. The area was settled by the Anglo-Saxons and in the 9th century the settlement was known as 'Slioford' becoming 'Eslaforde' at the time of Domesday. There are many fine 17th and 18th century buildings including the Carre Hospital built in the early 17th century. The 13th century church of St Denys has a fine tower and the Old Vicarage dates to the 16th century. Sleaford was very much an agricultural centre but has lately developed as a tourist destination. Tenure: Leasehold General Information: Self managed. If you want to call the management company direct call , or if you want to contact the development direct, call |
