Grove Court consists of five two and three-bedroom bungalows with a 55+ age covenant. Godmanchester lies just to the south-east of Huntingdon on the A14 and was an important town in Roman Britain controlling the crossing of Ermine Street over the Ouse and linking London with Lincoln and York. There are a number of bridges over the Ouse the most famous probably being the Chinese Bridge now held together with nails. The town's name probably derives from 'Roman station associated with Godmund'. The town has a large number of 16th and 17th century timbered and plastered houses and an Elizabethan grammar school.
