Meadowsweet Place consists of 30 one nad two-bedroom flats with shared services completed in 2017.

Melksham is an old market town situated on the River Avon about seven miles west of Devizes and is mentioned in Domesday as Melchesham and had a church and eight mills. It was originally in the middle of Chippenham Forest though its name probably derives from 'homestead or enclosure where milk is produced'. There are several attractive 17th and 18th century houses in Cannon Square built when the town was expanding through the cloth industry. Eventually the mills succumbed to competition from the north and the town diversified into engineering and agriculture.
