Buxted Court is situated off Gordon Road close to the High Street and consists of 30 apartments completed in 2007.

Facilities include a resident manager and alarm service, lift, residents lounge, laundry, guest facilities and garden.

Buxted is a little over two miles north of Uckfield  and for many years was associated with the iron-smelting industry. It is thought its name derives from the Saxons and was originally known as the 'place of the beeches'. Nearby Buxted Park is an area of Special Scientific Interest and has some excellent walks.

Uckfield has grown considerably in the 20th century with good north-south communications and a mainline railway station. Today there are several supermarkets and a good range of high street names and shops. Nearby is the famous woodland garden created by the 1st Lord Sheffield in the 18th century. The Wealden woods although much reduced still provide excellent walking country.

Tenure: Shared Ownership
