Bronte Court is situated off Salterton Road to the east of Exmouth and consists of 40 flats with communal facilities completed in 2007.

Facilities include a resident manager and alarm service, lift, residents' lounge, laundry, refuse room and guest facilities.

Exmouth is situated on the eastern shore of the River Axe and derives its name from 'mouth of the River Exe'. It is thought to be the longest-established seaside resort in the country with many traditional attractions. The town has several Georgian houses and a circular 18th century house called A La Ronde stands about two miles to the north of the town.

In the 16th century Exmouth was still a small village and it wasn't until the 17th century that the town started to take on its present form. Its sandy beaches attracted the mercantile classes from nearby and further afield and it soon established itself as a seaside resort. The coming of the railways in the 19th century further promoted the seaside attractions and much of the town was built during the Victorian period.
