Inglewood : Inglewood is a former luxury health spa being converted into new apartments in a secure and comfortable environment with over 39 acres of gardens and grounds. Construction is due to commence in summer 2010.

Inglewood is mentioned in Domesday and possibly derives its name from 'wood of the angles' and lies about a mile west of Kintbury. The village is also an ancient settlement and in 1086 was known as Cheneteberie - 'fortified place on the River Kennet' and had two mills. Old Mill House is on the site of a Saxon burial ground. Kintbury has a number of shops and a mainline railway station. The Kennet and Avon Canal runs just north of the village.
