Eden Court is situated off the Aylesbury Road and consists of 40 flats completed in 2007. Facilities include a visiting manager and emergency alarm service, lift, communal lounge, laundry and guest facilities. Bletchley is Anglo-Saxon in origin and probably derives its name from ' Blaecca's glade', first appearing in manorial rolls in the 12th century. It lies about three miles south-east of Milton Keynes and just over four miles from Junction 13 of the M1 motorway. It is now of course much smaller than its planned neighbour, Milton Keynes, founded in 1967. Bletchley remained a small village for much of the middle ages eventually developing into a town with the coming of the railways in the 19th century. Bletchley is famous for Bletchley Park which is now a museum and once the headquarters of Britain's World War II code-breaking organisation. The department's techniques in deciphering the German 'enigma machine' led to the evolution of the modern computer.
