Gravelly Hill to the south of the town and just above the M25 motorway is a good viewpoint that takes in the ancient Pilgrims' Way on its way to Kent.

Frequent train services are available from Coulsdon South and Caterham railway stations. The quickest services to London Victoria and London Bridge are from Coulsdon South which take approximately 30 and 23 minutes respectively.
