Orchard Dean : Orchard Dean is a mews style development of twelve retirement cottages set just behind the high street in this attractive country town. The development rises gently from The Dean at the foot of West Street and curves at the top of the access road around a central conical style cottage. Private parking is provided either by way of integral garaging or secure grouped garages.

Alresford : Alresford is a charming old and mainly Georgian town with the main streets lined with eighteenth century houses, cottages and shops, the latter catering for most everyday needs. There are churches of most denominations and St Mary's is beautifully lit at night. There is a recreational and community centre and local sporting facilities include fishing in the nearby Itchen and River Arle, numerous country walks as well as those by Fulling Mill alongside the River Arle. There is also sailing on the Solent, golf at the local course and gliding at Lasham all within easy reach by car.
