Coltishall Hall : Coltishall Hall is an exceptionally attractive mansion house with fine period features and an excellent location opposite the riverside village green. The green fronts the mainstream of the River Bure close to its upper navigable limit. The Hall stands in a fine elevated position in extensive gardens and grounds with many mature trees. Coltishall Hall has been on this site since around 1700 and was modernised in 1830 and a number of fine original features have been restored as part of the original building programme, including the ornate tent-like ceiling. In 1871 the facade was altered and the building re-roofed when an impressive domed skylight above the staircase was decorated and painted in the Adam style. All properties have a parking space.

The Broadland village of Coltishall lies about three miles from Wroxham and about eight miles north of Norwich. North Walsham is also about eight miles due of the village. Acle is about 21 miles. The coast at Mundesley is about 13 miles. Fast trains from Norwich to London (Liverpool Street) take a little over two hours.

Coltishall : The village has excellent local amenities including numerous riverside pubs and restaurants, and shops with the wider ranging facilities of the Broadland Centre of Wroxham just three miles away.
