The Lodges and Stables are situated within the grounds of The Malthouse Residential Care Home, a fine 17th Century country house on the outskirts of Gillingham. They have been designed to meet the accommodation and living needs of those who, in retirement, would like the security of a care environment and do not wish to have the responsibility of maintaining their own house and gardens.

The Lodges and Stables offer an independent lifestyle with the security of knowing help is available if needed. They include the provision of fully managed services, maintenance and emergency facilities with the opportunity to purchase additional support and professional care as and when required. If a move to the Care Home is necessary, priority is given to residents of The Lodges and The Stables.

The conservatory and dining room are for the sole use of the residents of The Lodges and The Stables and they form a link through to the Care Home. The 24 hour call bell facility is available for emergency use and a ‘Menu of Care Package‘ is available, including domestic services, meals, handyman, secretary and care given by fully trained care assistants.
