Waterford Court : Waterford Court is situated close to local shops off Brookvale Road in Erdington to the northwest of Stockland Green and to the north of Birmingham. The development consists of 56 flats with communal facilities built by Bovis Retirement Homes in 2000.

Birmingham : Birmingham was mentioned in Domesday as Bermingeham and its name seems to derive from 'Beorma's people's homestead'.
