Chinnor, at the foot of the chiltern escarpment and surrounded by lovely countryside, is an ancient settlement dating back to the fourth century BC. Today it is a busy village with good local shops and amenities. The larger centre of Thame, about four miles, is easily accessible by car and offers more comprehensive high street shopping.

Chinnor is a little over three miles to the M40 (Junction 6) which provides an excellent link to the City of Oxford, The Midlands and the South East. Rail connections into London or Oxford are available from Princess Risborough and High Wycombe. The surrounding towns of Watlington (8 miles), Princess Risborough (5 miles) and High Wycombe (15 miles) are within easy reach by road. Bus services are operated daily from Chinnor to Princess Risborough, Thame, High Wycombe and London.
