Sturry Court Mews : Sturry Court Mews is situated off Sturry Hill in Sturry Village about three miles northeast of Canterbury. The development was built by Lansdown Homes and consists of 35 flats and was completed in 1989.

Canterbury: Canterbury is the pre-eminent cathedral city of England and was a flourishing town under the Romans and became the capital of Kent in the 6th century. In 597 St Augustine was sent here to christianize the English and ever since its archbishop has been the senior churchman of Britain. It was already a large town when the Normans came in the eleventh century and then had a population of around 3000. It is mentioned in Domesday as Canturia and had three mills.

The magnificent cathedral was begun in 1070 with Bell Harry, the tower over the crossing, being built at the end of the fifteenth century. Today it is a much visited and beautiful building. The town has many charming old streets with ancient buildings, museums and art galleries.
