Warwick Grange is situated off Warwick Road to the south of Olton and consists of retirement properties built by Bovis Retirement Homes in 1993.

Solihull is about seven miles southeast of Birmingham and in the 17th century was not that much smaller than Britain's second city today. The old High Street has a wide range of shops and at the western end is the red sandstone church of St Alphege with its famous Kempe glass. St Alphege was Archbishop of Canterbury 1006-1012.
