Brackenhurst was completed in 1990 by Barratts and consists of thirty bungalows set around an attractive landscaped courtyard. The properties were built within the grounds of a convent which is now the Christian Conference Centre. It is within walking distance of shops.

Directions: From Malvern town centre take the Worcester Road to the main set of traffic lights in Malvern Link. Continue straight through to the next set of lights and then take the third turning on the right into Ranelagh Road. Malvern has been home to many distinguished people the most famous of whom is Sir Edward Elgar who wrote several of his works in the area. They can frequently be heard at Worcester Cathedral a little ove five miles away. Bernard Shaw, Jenny Lind and Elizabeth Browning will all have enjoyed the fine expanses of common which frame the eastern approaches to the town. The hills and surrounding countryside are beautiful. The Malvern Arts and Music Festival is held annually and the Three Counties Show Ground is just below the town.

Today Malvern has many amenities and facilities with new supermarkets, swimming pool, active theatre, many fine restaurants, winter gardens, golf and fishing. There are mainline railway stations in Malvern Link and Great Malvern and bus services along Worcester Road. Rising above the towns are the magnificent Malvern Hills seen across the plains providing exceptional walking country and with fine views towards Wales. On the hilltop is the British Camp, one of England's best Iron-Age hill-forts, once the home to more than 2000 Britons.
