Homelawn House : Homelawn House is situated in Brookfield Road off De La Warr Parade, close to shops and the seafront. The development consists of 80 flats and was completed in 1990.

This part of the Sussex coast has long been settled by ancient Britons and Saxons and in 1066 the Conqueror gave the Rape of Hastings to the Count of Eu. Bexhill-on-Sea is a town and resort in East Sussex about five miles west of Hastings. For much of its history it remained a small village and then Reginald Sackville, seventh Earl De La Warr, decided to create a fashionable seaside town. The De La Warr Pavilion on the seafront, designed by Erich Mendelsohn and Chermayeff was built in the mid 1930's and is one of the most notable Art Deco buildings in England.

Bexhill-on-Sea : Bexhill-on-Sea lies to the west of Pevensey Bay about five miles from Hastings and between them both is St Leonard‘s. The area has long attracted visitors and the retired with holiday amenities and long stretches of parade walks and a crescent shaped bay. Bexhill was largely built as a seaside resort as was St Leonards, principally to cater for the demand for healthy lifestyles in the early nineteenth century. Today you still get the breezy winds along the cliff tops and lots of sun.

There are many places of interest nearby including the moated brick built Herstmonceaux Castle and Gardens, the sprawling Pevensey Castle, once a mighty Roman fort, St Clements Caves at Hastings and of course Battle Abbey built where King Harold fell.
