Chysauster is attractively situated on a hillside with views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. The development was completed in 1991 and consists of 23 apartments and maisonettes centred around a Grade II listed church which has been restored and integrated into the overall design.

There are many fine restaurants, inns and tea rooms, craft shops, and supermarkets.

The M5 runs past the outskirts of Clevedon and there is a mainline railway station at Yatton about five miles away. Clevedon Court is a beautiful 14th century manor which houses the Elton Ware pottery collection. Bristol Airport is about eight miles.
