Sevenoaks: Sevenoaks is an attractive town just south of the M25 and named presumably after the famous tree. Today it is a busy commuter town with good shopping and attractive parks and gardens. One of the oldest cricket grounds in England is to be found in Sevenoaks and also one of the largest houses at Knowle which is just southwest of the town. In June 1450 the Battle of Sevenoaks took place in which a Royalist force was routed by Kentish rebels. Sevenoaks School was founded in the 15th century by a Lord Mayor of London. Facilities: These include a resident manager and emergency alarm service, communal lounge, laundry and garden. There is limited parking to the front of the development. It is just a short walk to the shops. Webbs Meadow : Webbs Meadow was built in 1989 and is well located just behind the High Street in Sevenoaks yet in a quiet position close to Waitrose. The development consists of 18 flats, some two bedroom, in a small courtyard with attractive rear gardens.
