Teal Beck Court is situated off Teal Beck Approach to the south-east of the town centre and consists of 22 flats. Facilities : Facilities include a visiting manager and alarm service. For many years an important wool town on the River Wharfdale by the mid 19th century more than 500 people were employed in the industry. All Saints Parish Church dates from the 12th century but has fragments of 8th century crosses and it is thought the first church was built in the 7th century. The town has several festivals and its one day agricultural show is reputed to be the oldest in the country.
