Crown Mews Mews was completed in 1988 and is a small courtyard development of apartments situated off Church Street close to the centre of Hungerford. Altogether there are 23 flats and cottages set around a small courtyard.

Directions: From the A4 continue up Hungerford High Street under the railway bridge and turn right into Church Street. The entrance to Crown Mews will be found in about sixty metres on your left.

Hungerford is an exceptionally attractive market town on the old Bath Road south of Junction 14 on the M4. The wide High Street has some fine Georgian houses and a variety of high class shops, including clothing and specialist food shops as well as supermarkets, chemists, banks, a post office and a library. The mainline railway station lies just south of the Kennet and Dun rivers, famous for their trout, which flow through the town. Hungerford was granted fishing rights by John of Gaunt in the 14th century and this is celebrated annually at Hocktide, on the Tuesday of Easter week, a colourful ceremony featuring the famous Tutti men.
