Retirement Properties Spotlight in Newton-le-Willows

Newton-le-Willows : Newton-le-Willows was mentioned in Domesday as Newtone and lies on the Sankey Brook about midway between Liverpool and Manchester. It remained a small farming community for much of the middle ages until the 19th century when it developed as a railway town. The old centre of Newton has an attractive centre with shops inns and restaurants. The town's good communications has meant that its become a popular communter town for the larger centres nearby.
