Odiham : Odiham is one of Hampshire‘s oldest and most attractive towns with many listed buildings in the high street including small period cottages, substantial Queen Anne houses and Georgian town houses. Each building has been catalogued by a local historian in a publication entitled ‘Odiham High Street - An Itinerary‘.
The Basingstoke Canal, navigable from Greywell to the River Wey, runs past the town and boats are available for hire throughout the summer. There is fishing on the rivers Alre, Test and Itchen and at nearby Lasham there is The International Gliding Centre. Racing is at Ascot and Newbury with local point to points at Tweseldown and Hackwood Park. There are numerous golf courses within easy reach of the town.
