Pinner: Pinner in old English meant a pointed ridge or hill and the River Pinn derives its name from the old village. Now a district of West London the village still retains many old buildings and wide avenues and is an attractive residential area with good communications. Betjeman wrote of 'sepia views of leafy lanes in Pinner' in his poem 'The Metropolitan Railway' and the novelist Ivy Compton-Burnett was born here.

Facilities: These include a resident manager and emergency alarm service, communal lounge, guest facilities, laundry and gardens. Local shops are within walking distance.

Maple Court: Maple Court was built in 1987 and consists of thirty-five flats set back from Pinner Hill Road in attractive gardens. There is parking to the front of the development and local shops are within walking distance.
