Arnison Jubilee Almshouses consist of four flats for people resident in the parish of Allendale.

Facilities include non-resident management and emergency alarm service.

Allendale is set on a steep cliff overlooking the winding River Allen in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and lies about 11 miles southwest of Hexam. It is famous for its New Year festivities which include the carrying of lighted tar barrels to accompany parties celebrating. Below the town is a large tunnel once an entrance to a lead mine which together with coal were the main local in industries. There are many excellent walks nearby many being the old routes used to take lead ore by packhorse to smelters on Tyneside. Today it is a popular tourist destination with good fishing and a golf course and a good range of shops and other facilities.
