Summersbee Court consists of 14 two-bedroom flats with shared services completed in 2007.

Facilities include non resident management and emergency alarm service, lift, lounge, dining room, laundry, guest facilities and garden.

Thame is an old settlement and was mentioned in Domesday as Tame with a mill and its celtic name comes from the River Thame. It has a famously long and wide high street with the Town Hall in the middle and several inns and restaurants lining the sides some of which date from the 15th century. Between the wars the Spread Eagle Inn became famous as the place to visit through the writings of cookery expert, John Fothergill.

Today there is a good range of shops and the station is just south of the town. The Grammar School dates from the 16th century and amongst its pupils were the poet John Milton and the parliamentarian John Hampden, who died in the Civil War.
