The National Maritime Museum is in Queen's House by Inigo Jones. The area is host to many festivals of music, theatre, concerts, exhibitions and  museums  and places of interest seldom surpassed with the Cutty Sark a testament to Britain's sea-power in the 19th century. The beautiful Painted Hall by Sir James Thornhill and Wrens' Octagonal Room of 1675 are not to be missed as is a walk in historic Greenwich Park.
