Christopher Boone's Court consists of 32 one-bedroom flats with shared services built in 2019.

Facilities include non-resident management and emergency alarm service, lift, lounge, conservatory, hobby room, activities room and garden.

Lewisham was mentioned in Domesday as Levesham and had 11 mills belonging to Ghent Abbey. Its name seems to derive from 'Leofsa's homestead' and it was an important settlement lying at the confluence of the rivers Quaggy and Ravensbourne. Being less than six miles from Central London the town was soon absorbed by an expanding London after the coming of the railways. It was a small farming community for much of the Middle Ages and until the mid 19th century remained a small but successful town trading on the River Ravensbourne. It then developed quite rapidly into a London suburb and today has a particularly long and wide High Street.
