Gracewell of Sway consists of studio suites and one bedroom apartments  where residents can live as independently as possible. On the second floor is the Nostalgia Neighbourhood' providing support to residents with dementia. Nearby are 14 independent living cottages for residents who want a more independent lifestyle but expert close care is at hand when needed.

Facilities include an impressive atrium at the heart of the care home where residents can enjoy the many musical events. Sway is a small village in the New Forest National Park about four miles from the south coast. It covers an area of about 145 square miles between the River Avon and Southampton Water. There is a village shop but the larger centre of Brockenhurst is nearby with more comprehensive facilities.
