Strathearn Court is situated off Strathearn Terrace within walking distance of shops in Crieff. The development consists of 40 bungalows and flats with communal facilities completed in 1983.

Facilities include a resident manager and alarm service, residents lounge and guest facilities.

Crieff  became a spa town in the 19th century having been an important cattle centre for centuries. Cattle were driven form as far away as Caithness to the annual Michaelmas market and the town became notorious for its banditry and general lawlessness when these events took place. In 1746 the Jacobite army left Crieff on its ill-fated mission. Today the town is very much a tourist centre and one of the gateways to the Highlands. The Glenturet distillery is the oldest in Scotland and located on the banks of the River Turret two miles northwest of Crieff.
