Langley is situated just off the M4 to the east of Slough in East Berkshire and has seen considerable growth in the last few years. The main shopping centre hosts such names as Marks & Spencers and Tesco. There is a swimming pool, sports centre, golf course and bingo hall. It is also home to Upton Court, a fine 17th Century house and St. Lawrence's Church has a Norman heritage.

Langley is largely a residential area with its own local shopping about two miles east of Slough. Nearby at Stoke Poges, Thomas Gray in the eighteenth century composed his 'Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard'. He is buried in the churchyard near his mother. The massive silhouette of Windsor Castle can easily be seen from the M4 just west of Langley. To the north of Slough, in amongst the green belt, are many golf courses and excellent places to walk.

Tenure: Leasehold. There is no ground rent at The Oaks
