Priory Manor consists of 49 flats and is situated off Chastleton Road in Priory Village to the north of Swindon town centre. The development was completed by Bovis Homes in 2006.

Facilities include a visiting manager and emergency alarm service, communal lounge, lift, guest facilities and garden.

Swindon was known as Suindone at Domesday and belonged to the Bishop of Bayeux and had two mills. It was still a village in the 17th century becoming a small town in the early 19th to rise as a major industrial centre in the 20th century. Swindon station was opened in 1835 and the town eventually became the home of British Railways' engineering works. The Great Western Railway museum is now housed in a converted Methodist chapel.

Today Swindon has many facilities and amenities with art galleries, cinema centres, leisure and sports clubs, parks and gardens and several out-of-town shopping centres. The town is still expanding today with considerable new development to the north-west. There are many interesting places to visit nearby including the White Horse, Waylands' Smithy and Uffington Castle.
