The Stildon Brendoncare Nursing Home : The Stildon Brendoncare Nursing Home off the London Road provides nursing care for 32 residents and within the grounds are eleven new close care apartments and a ten place daycare centre.

Facilities : The eleven close care apartments are based around a central courtyard opposite the nursing home. Older people may continue to live their own lives in their own homes and take part in the mainstram of life despite failing health. They recieve personal care, nursing and support services either from the adjacent nursing home or from other providers, and have the security of knowing that qualified nursing assistance is on hand 24 hours a day.

East Grinstead: East Grinstead is an old market town dating from the 13th century when Edward I ordered that his market at Grenestede should be held on a Saturday instead of a Sunday. Later in the seventeenth century this was changed to Thursday and this is still the market day.

The town has many fine buildings in amongst modern shopping malls. Cromwell House is 15th century and St Margarets Convent is now housing. Beautiful Sackville College is a Jacobean almshouse founded in the early seventeenth century by the Earl of Dorset for poor and disabled people and is built in the local sandstone.

There are many interesting places to visit nearby including Saint Hill Manor, built in the 1830s and now the headquarters of the Scientologists and Standen, a National Trust house with William Morris wallpaper. There are several golf courses in the area including the Royal Ashdown Forset Golf Club.
