The mainline railway station is within easy reach. Other local amenities include a golf course at Goodworth Clatford and Andover, Andover cinema, Cricklade Theatre, racing at Newbury and Salisbury and private airport and motor racing at Thruxton. The surrounding countryside is well known for its beauty.
