Venners Water is situated off Mersey Way to the north of Didcot town centre and just over half a mile from Parkway station. The development consists of 20 bungalows completed in 1994.

Facilities include an alarm service and estate management services.

Didcot is a growing town about five miles south of Abingdon close to the A34 and Junction 13 of the M4 motorway is about 12 miles. It was a small village for much of the Middle Ages and in the 19th century expanded considerably with the coming of the railways. Today it is a major rail junction with frequent and fast trains to London. The town is well known for its Power Stations which are actually in Sutton Courtenay and known locally as the 'cathedral of the vale'. There has been considerable development recently and a new town centre, The Orchard Centre, opened in 2005.
