Rookery Close : Rookery Close is situated off Mountbatten Road to the east of the town centre and consists of 32 flats completed in 1989.

Facilities : Facilities include a visiting manager and emergency alarm service.

Chorley : Chorley is situated in the centre of Lancashire at the foot of the Pennines about 20 miles north-west of Manchester. For many years it thrived on its cotton-weaving but the mills today house other industries. Its name probably derives from the Anglo-Saxon 'freemen's clearing' and it is still set on the edge of a large agricultural area. The immediate area has long been settled and the town recieved its first market charter in the 13th century. Part of the town's legacy from its industrial past are not only the few remaining mills but also the grid like terraced houses which housed the mill workers.

Tenure: Leasehold
