Albion Mews is situated off De Vitre Street on the east side of the river and consists of 24 flats completed in 1989. Facilities include a visiting manager and emergency alarm service. Lancaster was the county town of Lancashire until Preston became the administrative centre in the 19th century. It is set at the mouth of the River Lune on the north-west coast and its name derives from 'Roman fort on the River Lune'.
