Chanctonbury Walk is an attractive development of retirement properties. All have two bedrooms and whilst built in different materials the traditional village architecture ensures the courts are warm and attractive. The development consists mostly of cottages set around a distinguished apartment building with many classical details. It is set in attractive grounds and was completed in 1989.

Facilities: There is a Scheme Manager. Each house and apartment has a discreet emergency alarm call system controlled by a small portable pendant. External doors have high quality mortice locks, downstairs double glazed windows have lockable fasteners and an entry phone system controls access to all of the apartments. Ample parking spaces are provided.

The large village of Storrington sits just north of the South Downs in beautiful countryside and has a good mix of traditional small shops and more modern supermarkets. There are a number of churches with St Mary's in Church Street and Our Lady in England just around the corner in Monastery Lane. There is a good selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs in the village and surrounding area.

Storrington is at the foot of the Downs midway between Pulborough and Steyning on the A283. There are various societies and clubs within the village including an Art Club and a thriving horticultural society. Nearby are several places of interest to visit, most notably Parnham House, a beautifully restored Elizabethan manor house, and the ancient ruins of Amberley Castle. The major resort towns of Worthing, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton are nearby.

Tenure: Leasehold. Ground rent of £50 per annum
