Hove : In the seventeenth century Hove was known as Hoove and was not much smaller than its neighbour Brighton. Today Hove is still dwarfed by its more noisy neighbour Brighton and there are some attractive squares fronting the sea with Brunswick Square forming the boundary between the two.

Brighton has a flourishing cultural centre with the Theatre Royal, arts festivals and concerts in the Dome. It is one of Britains leading resorts famed for the Royal Pavilion built for the Prince Regent .
