Islescourt is situated off Back Lane close to shops in the centre of the village. Altogether there are 26 flats and cottages overlooking a delightful garden square.

Facilities : These include a resident manager and emergency alarm service and attractive gardens and grounds. Local shops are nearby. Some of the cottages have magnificent views over the Kennet Valley.

Ramsbury : Lying between the Roman fortified town of Cunetio and the great villa estate at Littlecote, the Saxon settlement at Ramsbury became a centre of major importance, famous for its iron-smelting forge. Later in 909 AD, it was made a bishopric. The present church, dating from the 13th century, is thought to have been built on the site of the Saxon Cathedral Minster in what is now the centre of Ramsbury. Today the village still retains shops and there are beautiful walks along the River Kennet.

Tenure: Leasehold
