Redwood Manor : Redwood Manor was completed in 1988 and consists of fifty-six flats off Tanners Lane and is located within a level walk of Haslemere High Street and main line station. Within the main building there is a visitors flat and communal lounges offering a range of social facilities. There is also a separate laundry room.

Haslemere : Haslemere is a very attractive small Surrey town which benefits from a range of shopping and leisure facilities and churches of most denominations. It is well known for its small Dolmetsch Musical Instrument Workshops where there is a museum of special instruments. An annual festival held in July is devoted to early music. Other facilities in the area include golf courses at Liphook and Hindhead, racing at Goodward, polo at Cowdray Park and sailing on the south coast.
