Arun Court is situated off Rosehill in attractive gardens to the north of East Street and close to shops in the High Street. The development was built by Declan Kelly and consists of 43 flats and houses and was completed in 1989.

Facilities include a resident manager and emergency alarm service and attractive gardens and grounds.

Billingshurst was spelt Bellingesherst in the 13th century and probably derives its name from 'wooded hill of a man called Billing'. It lies about eight miles south-west of Horsham on the old Roman Stane Street. In the Middle Ages the village stood on the old coaching route, now the A29, which runs all the way to Bognor and the south coast. The Wey and Arun canal runs to the north-west. Billingshurst has a good range of shops, inns and restaurants along its high street.
