Gullane : Gullane is situated about four miles southwest of North Berwick and is a small town on the southern side of the Firth of Forth. The remains of the abandoned church of St Andrew are to be found to the west of the village after sandstorms made it unstable. The village has a famous sandy beach popular with tourists and Gullane has hosted the Open Championship for many years. As a result it is a popular destination for golfing enthusiasts.
