Retirement Properties Spotlight in West Chiltington

West Chiltington : West Chiltington was known as Cilletone in Domesday and possibly derived its name from 'farmstead at a hill-top slope called Cilte'. The village lies just north of the South Downs on the border of the Bramber and Arundel rapes and is shown as the same size as Storrington in Speed's 17th century map of Sussex. It is about two miles east of Pulborough on the Storrington to Broadford Bridge Road.
