Retirement Properties Spotlight in Conisbrough

Conisbrough : Conisbrough is an ancient market town set beside the River Don between Doncaster and Rotherham. It was mentioned in Domesday as Coningesborc and had a church and two mills. The town has steep streets and a famous castle dating from the 12th century and one of the finest examples in Great Britain. St Peters Church contains a rare Norman tomb chest decorated with chivalric scenes and is thought to be Anglo-Saxon in origin.
