Retirement Properties Spotlight in Mobberley

Barclay Hall is approximately three miles from Knutsford which is an attractive old town with bistros and bars and a lively centre. It is believed to have been so named after the fording of a local stream by king Canute in the eleventh century but by the time of Domesday nothing is recorded other than waste. By the 18th century it had become the fourth largest town in the county. Today it has all the facilities and amenities of a successful modern town.
