Emmbrook Court is located in the Earley area of Reading, under 3 miles from the town centre. A Post Office, GP Practice and a range of local shops are all within a mile of the Court and buses run frequently to Reading town centre from a bus stop nearby.

Emmbrook was built in the grounds of an old Quaker public school and is bordered by an area of natural woodland with some fine and unusual specimen trees. The Court is set around landscaped gardens, the centrepiece of which is a croquet lawn.

The Courts are designed to mobility standards, so that both communal areas and the individual properties are easily accessible and convenient to use, even in the extreme situation that someone becomes confined to a wheelchair. Careful attention is paid to the design details so that there is not even a single step to be climbed.

Hallways and doorways are wider than usual, sockets and switches are conveniently placed and flooring is chosen with safety and ease of movement in mind, plus a multitude of other details to make life easier.

The M4 skirts the southern perimeter of Reading which is well served by the road and rail network in Berkshire. Basingstoke is less than 20 miles and Maidenhead about 12 miles. There are frequent and fast trains to London (Paddington) taking about thirty minutes.
