The charming medieval town of Northleach in the heart of the Cotswolds has numerous listed buildings and a beautiful church. The great 15th-century church with its clerestory, vaulted roof and massive 100 foot tower is a testimony to the wealth of the wool trade. The Cotswold Countryside Collection, a fascinating series of exhibits, is housed in the former House of Correction.
Today the town has a good range of shops and services with restaurants, pubs and antique shops.

Kemble railway station is three miles from Cirencester with connections to London (Paddington) taking approximately an hour.
